Happy Thanksgiving

You can find Jim’s post from last Thanksgiving here.  It is worth re-reading, particularly George Washington’s Thanksgiving Day proclamation delivered in 1789.  Let me add my own thoughts this year.

I am thankful that I can still hug my brother.

I am thankful for Dr. Michael Grey, and the entire staff of the Hospital of Central Connecticut who once again made that possible.

I am thankful for WTIC who stood by my brother, and Ray, and Joe D., and Pastor Will who never thought twice about filling in for Jim.

And, I am thankful for you, the listeners and those who visit this blog, for your support and, most importantly, your prayers for my brother.

Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you from everyone at Radio Vice On Line.

SOS, sending nothing but the best of wishes for a blessed Thankgiving to you.? Your humor & insight are both things I am thankful for.? Now, you tell Jim to take it easy today and not overdo it, unless he overdoes it with turkey and goes horizontal on a sofa in front of a football game.? That would be acceptable.? I’m very thankful for the doctors and nurses who got him through his recent crisis & that you can still hug your little bro.? And to Jim:? So thankful that you’re still here with us.
Happy Thanksgiving to all here at the blog (you, Jim, Steve, everyone who comments on the posts)…it is one of my favorite spots on the www.
    God bless! 🙂

Compare Reagan’s ’85 Thanksgiving Day Address to Obama’s 2011 Address.??? Reagan didn’t say “I” even once and he gave thanks to God.? Barry used “I” at least five times, he was talking about himself and his family before the first 10 seconds, he says that Americans drew strength from each other (rather than something higher), and his little eyes kept jumping left to right because he can’t do three minutes without TOTUS!

Was my post too political- or did I not express thanks to the correct higher beings?? I had no idea on Thursday what a hot issue this would be on other media 🙂

I am thankful that I was born in the USA & thankful that there are people like you who voice the truth & are free to do it.

I was out of town and got back late.
There is much to be thankful for,? life, love, family friends, health, freedom of many things, and blogmates–not particularly in that order. Mega-thanks to the dedicated people who expend the effort to write for the blogs here and who broadcast on the radio, especially Jim.?
I hope everyone enjoyed his or her Thanksgiving holiday.

Thank you SOS, Steve, Dimsdale and Dave in EH for your intelligence and courage writing on this Blog. Thank you for all who chat and write comments, you are wonderful company. But mostly, thanks Jim, you have staked all in your life for us. Please take care, you need to think of yourself now.
