@gillie28 – You talked about France, not the UK. In any event what kind of health care does the US get with a 35% tax rate? And we are going broke at that.

UK highest tax rate just raised to 50%. Current highest US tax rate is 35%.

It seems like in France they have a pretty good health care system, though they are taxed enormously. We have a what? health care system and we are not taxed enormously??

When Hannan began to speak out against the NHS, labor part and even his own party leader, rushed to condemn his comments. Since that happened a few weeks ago, horror stories about the NHS are now being printed in the British papers, confirming his criticism of the UK health system.

My sister and cousins live in France, and, apparently their health care system is pretty good. the problem is those who live there are taxed enormously to sustain it.
