Well-
This is a drinking song - sung by a military group - honors your Slavic heritage - plus very campy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_A7Hu0uKNw&feature=related
Dimsdale: From my misspent Mad Murphy's days - "What do you do with a drunken sailor - early in the morning." My friend Tom - a former CPO Navy - also liked the Holy Ground - apparently a house of prostitution - with the refrain "Fine girl you are!" Ah - Loved Murphys - Chris Morgan used to work with my husband - Tom and Moose were there - what wonderful times.
Caught the theme for the Hunt for Red October - it seemed too political for today's administration. Then, the Crimson Tide - the intro song in the rain was campy but I couldn't find it. So - red - crimson = Kalinka. Cheers!

I remember (dimly) from an excursion to a now defunct Irish tavern in Framingham, MA, a ballad calld "What do you do with a drunken sailor?" to which one of the answers was "shave his belly with a rusty razor!"
Just the thing to quaff a tasty dark ale by...

Jim, this is a postscript, the funny part to the song/video "Whiskey For My Men.....Beer For My Horses is how the police partner of the charctor played by Toby Keith is "put to work" to lure the bad guy into a trap to get him arrested.:)=^..^=

Jim, here is another song that with a video that comes with it, has its funny moments. First heard this song done be a lady with a band who does country and western music a few summers back at the Sounds Of Summer at the Town Green in East Hartford. It is the famous song done by country and western singer Toby Keith with Willie Nelson, called "Whiskey For My Men.....Beer For My Horses". Here is the YouTube video of the song, which has some very funny moments Jim. For gillie, like Garth Brooks, Toby Keith puts very funny stories in his songs. A first, I have NEVER seen a country and western singer distroy with one of his band members, their guitars. I remember only seeing that in videos of heavy metal rock band singers. Here is the video of "Whiskey For My Men......Beer For My Horses". Enjoy Jim!:)=^..^=

Jim, glad you enjoyed it :D Garth really rocks in that performance. The last, "added" verse is the clincher!

Well, it's not a drinking song, but that scene in Wayne's World, where Wayne and Garth are lipsynching to Bohemian Rhapsody while driving around in that AMC Pacer still cracks me up!
