Barry, what an image you paint with the teachings of your mother. Do you really think that religious groups are supportive of dropping bombs on the innocents. I must have missed something in my upbringing. I'm sure that the atheist groups are busy this holiday season making sure that the homeless, orphans and infirm are lined up to receive their winter solstice offerings. You name me one atheist group that supports anything charitable that has actually helped another person. Show me the love in an ACLU suit over a tree, cross or other symbol. Where's the good in that. I am thankful for the Judeo Christain underpinnings of our society that affords us the freedoms that we have including your's. There are countries that you could migrate to that are devoid of any religious beliefs and their bombs are left blank. You only have to check your freedoms at their boarder.

Tom, are you always so vile as to so quickly make remarks about someone’s mother? You didn’t know my mother. My mother knew and taught me that bombs dropped on children were equally evil regardless if they were emblazoned with a Star of David, an Iron Cross, or the Crescent Moon. Do you prefer Christian abominations to others? “Got mit Uns”, right. Thanks for your gift of tolerance, if that’s what you want to call it.

Atheists have their beliefs and theists have theirs. In a fair and balanced society, why should one have any more say than the other.
Isn't the expunging of the countryside of all things religious favoring one group over another? And shame on you Barry, you're lucky your mother chose you and not some other choice. My gift to you this Christmas is tolerance.
