Global Warming Face Off

From Friday … so a little late but well worth the watch and from CNN no less. The video first … analysis afterwards. Pay attention class.

Well I am kind of stunned that Gore continues to get away with his “Sea levels will rise 20 feet” fairy tale. This has been discredited by Richard Lindzen. the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as the High Court in London. Inconvenient truth indeed.

An Inconvenient Truth won plaudits from the environmental lobby and an Oscar from the film industry but was found wanting when it was scrutinised in the High Court in London.

Mr Justice Burton identified nine significant errors within the former presidential candidate’s documentary as he assessed whether it should be shown to school children. He agreed that Mr Gore’s film was “broadly accurate” in its presentation of the causes and likely effects of climate change but said that some of the claims were wrong and had arisen in “the context of alarmism and exaggeration”.

But I digress because this so 20th century. Moving on … the hope that his testimony would help push the Democrats cap and trade program was pretty much countered by scientist after scientist who testified that you did see … but Newt’s put down was enough for me. As for Cap and trade itself. In trouble is one of putting this crapo tax on average Americans.

“Every economist says that a carbon tax is a better, more efficient, fairer way of doing it. … The Europeans have had two, maybe three fine failures in their application of cap and trade. How do we avoid the mistakes that they have made? … Nobody in this country realizes that cap and trade is a tax, and it’s a great big one. … I want to get a bill that works — how do we choose the best way?”

And that, my friends, is a Democrat. Now class … watch the video one more time.

Al Gore is the MOST dangerous man in America.

Play the clip of him being asked about how much he profits from all of this.  And what about the original guy that was supposed to testify that they canceled because he knew too much. This is unreal we are going to robbed again if this man has his way.

The true test: Gore steadfastly refuses to debate any so called "denier," citing "consensus.

I cite Gore's lack of facts, patent ignorance, and dishonesty.  There can be no "consensus" in science without peer review and challenge.  Anything else is scientific dishonesty.
