In an effort to raise campaign funds for his GOP primary run against Charlie Christ for the Florida US Senate seat, Marco Rubio racks up more than half of his $787,000 goal. The Stimulus Bomb campaign ends in three days. The Rubio campaign is looking for $1,000 in donations for every billion of the federal stimulus boondoggle.
The Feb. 10 date reflects the anniversary of the infamous President Obama stimulus rally in Florida where Charlie Christ embraced – and agreed with the president – that the stimulus was the right thing for America.
Let’s just say after Christ’s on-stage dance with the president, TEA Party members were no longer big fans, and Marco Rubio has been gaining momentum ever since.
