Failure! Update – Harry Reid “War is lost” video.

Rush Limbaugh is being hammered from both the right and the left for his comments on wishing Obama fails. He has explained time and again that its his policies he hopes fails and so do I.Most of us who value liberty do not wish that policies that transfer freedom to the Federal Government succeed. In the end it will mean the end of the Republic as we know it. In the end it will mean a country of people so dependent on the government for everything in their lives, that freedom will be an afterthought. When the government controls your health care, retirement, education and housing, I ask you … where is liberty?

In that regard … here is Rush on “wanting Obama to fail.” (video may still be processin

Good point … we all remember Kennedy calling Iraq a quagmire  … and Harry Reid programming the Iraq war to be lost. Both hoping for Bush failure. It was constant.

Here’s another great Rush bite … and it goes directly to how this administration and the current Democrat party wants to control your personal freedom.

These I think are worth watching over and over. And for your viewing pleasure … here’s Harry Reid … weasel.

The irony in all of this, Jim, is that you and Rush are not elected officials.  You and Rush are not in power, having the ability to create policy.  Reid and Kennedy comments are over the line because of there position.  But main stream media will not see it that way.  That is the truly scary part.  Who holds our elected officials accountable???

I love the sheer unadulterated hypocrisy displayed by the Democrats with this "Rush wants the president to fail" mantra.   This is a group that is repeatedly on the record of doing their very best to ensure that anything, let me repeat: anything, President Bush tried to accomplish, even if they went along with it in the first place.  Smarmy Harry Reid is a prime example, but there are no shortage of them from the Democrats.  A surplus, actually.  And as Darlene notes, Rush is not an elected politician with the power of legislation.  I wish he was.

Nobody should confuse the success of Obama and the Democrats with the success of the country.  They are polar opposites.  Yes, we could get lucky and the damaging parts of Obama's plans would fail, but the country would persevere and succeed despite him and the Democrats, but the odds are against that, and the current tanking of the economy pretty much proves it.  Obambi the "great elocutor" needs to be told that every word he utters carries meaning, both hear and abroad, and using words like "catastrophe" and counter intuitive economic policies do more harm than good.
