Fabulously lefty Connecticut Congresswoman wants Joe recalled.

OK, she’s upset that a fellow Democrat is helping derail a bill that Americans don’t want, and is being pushed only by lefty ideologues because they can see total control of American life within their reach. But this is too much.

A House Democrat from Connecticut said Tuesday that Sen. Joe Lieberman should be recalled from office over his opposition to the Senate health care bill.

“No individual should hold health care hostage, including Joe Lieberman, and I’ll say it flat out, I think he ought to be recalled,” Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) told POLITICO.

Connecticut has no recall law for state officials, and the Constitution does not authorize states to recall members of Congress since each house has the authority to police its own members. DeLauro acknowledged that she didn’t know “what the Connecticut process is because I never found myself in this position — but I think it is unconscionable that he would hold up health care.”

She said that millions of people die because they lack health insurance.

I particularly like the “millions of people die because they lack health insurance”. We’ve dealt with that lie/scare tactic here but that never stops a lefty Congresswoman from pushing her agenda. More importantly, she’s not upset with the senior Senator lying about his Ireland house or his role in the AIG bonuses or his role in the financial collapse of the financial system. Nope. She’s upset because Joe tried to stop a health care bill that would have bankrupted America, hurt seniors, rationed care and raised premiums on private plans. Don’t believe me? Ask famous lefty economist Robert Reich.

Oh and one more thing. A sitting Congressperson admits she does not know the law for her own state, but is willing to call for a recall she doesn’t understand anyway. Perfect.

I'll say it flat out: I want the entire CT Democrat slate to be recalled for breaking their oaths to support and defend the Constitution and for, as a group, doing more to qualify as domestic enemies than any terrorist, considering the damage they are proposing.

    Take the MA Democrats too!

Great Job, Rosa!   Joe, [a legislator] needs to be recalled because he had the audacity to debate legislation.  Clearly that's a dereliction of his duty to parrot the party line.  Or something.  I'm sure the CT constitution has a provision that prohibits debate in the legislative process.  Good for her for pointing it out.

She's a member of the American Socialists Party – as is Larson – so they must be in their glory now.  Remember that Rahm lives with her and Stanley – and that she, Larson and who knows who else – went to Italy with Pelosi when she went to see the Pope.  They stopped at a base so that the taxpayer would pay the bill.  ( The link to the ASP to members of Congresss deactivated months ago.  I am so glad that I made a copy to send to a friend and then saved it.

Sounds like fascist intimidation to me!  Did it ever occur to those angry at Leiberman that maybe he's opposed to all the extra debt this bill will incur????  Of course not.  Every sane person realizes health care in the U.S. needs some kind of reform, but Rosa-baby, this is not the time or the place to be spending trillions more and further expanding government control and bureaucracy(incidentally, you DID read the bill, didn't you?????).

Dims. I'll see your recall of the CT Demoncratic slate and raise you the entire slate of the country – both parties!

Careful, Rosa … you can be recalled, too. Personally, I'd love the right to recall. I'd also like the right to initiative. Anything that takes government out of the hands of the high priests and puts it back in control of the voters, I favor.

Oh what a Beautiful Night ! Title of a climactic duet in the Tales of Hoffman Opera. The song was siezed by film maker Roberto Benigni for the climactic scene of Life is Beautiful. It is the sound track that floats over the concentration camp just before the  jewish hero of the film dies  saving his son from Nazi cruelty. The song was selected because the title "Beautiful Night" or "Belle Noche" makes an historical allusion to the famous ironic last words  of Leon Trotsky . Exiled in Mexico for disavowing the Communist revolution, Leon opened his window , admired "what a beautiful night"  , and was then murdered by Stalin's assassin. Oh What a beautiful Night represents the irony of the cruel Utopia, a perfect brotherhood of comrads that must shoot dead anyone who stands in their way.   This clip is from The tales of Hoffman and the evil sorcerer Dapertutto is a ballet star twin brother of Rahm Emmanuel… .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1AL8SAmWeQ&feature=PlayList&p=497BA81D9210ED1C&index=1

These are the clips of Beautiful Night  from the movie Life is Beautiful . The comic hero of the film, Guido, meets his future wife at the Opera.. .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AsZy5BBQSE…Later Nazis place his family in a segregated camp. Guido becomes a house   waiter and finds a record of the Opera. He  opens the window and plays Beautiful Night to send a message to his wife. The act replicates  the final moments of Leon Trotsky. .. .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EIOa-c_1IU...

From a quick scan of the headline Fabulously lefty Connecticut Congresswoman wants Joe recalled. I immediately thought that there was a movement to recall Joe Courtney. Unlike most U.S. representatives who represent about 700,000 people, Mr. Courtney only represents one-Nancy Pelosi.

Then then I was brought back to reality when I saw who the article was about. I just can't understand what goes through the minds of the people who fill in the ballot circle for Delauro. It makes my head hurt to try to imagine.

I would substitute "Infamously" for "Fabulously" when describing DeLauro.

Rosa DeLauro is an another example of why we need term limits in congress!  Just like the rest of them, they vote for their party not their constituents.  Just look at the voting records how many of them vote 90-95% or more with their party.   This is their careers they only care about getting re-elected, hence the earmarks and REAL government waste.

Another point, it is interesting that RINO's are treated better by Republicans than the Dems who stray away from the Democratic agenda, then it's open season on them and their families!!

There is a breaking story in the news today that the cast iron  sign  "work sets you free" has been stolen from the Gates of Auschwitz. Everybody is wondering who could do such a thing and where could the sign be.  Joe Lieberman's father was Polish. It would not surprise me if  the sign  turns up in Joe Lieberman's  bed. The CIA should be checking Rahm Emmanuel's phone records for telephone calls to Poland. These leftists will stop at nothing  to pass their deathcare bill.
