Earmarks – Update: Not Earmarks?

So much is still being made of earmarks and Sarah Palin. I thought about doing a round-up of what she did and did not take again … but instead I am relinking to this post by HotAir which does the best round-up … make sure you read this ABC article too … and here’s a piece by Fox I posted last week but worthy of being posted again.

Update: Ed Morrissey over at HotAir has an interesting post based on the WSJ article this morning. It’s a good balanced piece that asks the right questions and doesn’t let Sarah Palin off the hook. But make sure you read all the way down to his update.

When is pork not pork. Turns out most of the money were appropriations actually sought by the state legislature, not the Governor … and it turns out she herself makes note of the fact that the state made the decision to significantly reduce requests.
