Dream Big
My brother has a vision for for a hospital in Connecticut that will help those with auto-immune diseases…lupus, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, and many others.
Right now, we are only $2700 away from securing a matching donation of $25,000 for my brother’s dream.
But, this is not just my brother’s dream. It is the hope of anyone who has an auto-immune disease and needs a place to turn to.
Please, click here, and get this dream to reality.

My brother Karl has myasthenia gravis? – another autoimmune disease.? This why I read your coverage of Obama care so carefully – he will be affected if it stays.? Also, my cousin’s daughter has MS – there are too many family and friends who are suffering.? They will all benefit by this hospital.? As a sister – especially an older one – I worry about my brother a lot.? He’s a great guy – as I am sure your brother is to you.

Yup, it’s a great cause! We have all watched how hard it is for Jim to speak and use his hands to type, (when his hands just refuse to work, like the unemployed who enjoy waiting until the 99th week before they look for a job). Run on sentence, but who cares! C’mon, why not have a great time, you can stop smoking for a few days to save the money. Or you can stay home for a dinner or two.?
On a serious note, I lost a great friend to scleroderma when she was only in her early 50’s. It was heartbreaking. She was the most creative and the most fun friend, I have ever had and lost. I will never forget driving her to dialysis for her first and last time. She told me in her own way that she would not be able to go with me to an event we always went to together.? She and I knew she was going to die and she did a week later.? Good News, there are so many new medications and with early diagnosis of this horrendous disease, fewer people will die of it.? Please dig deep. Jim is providing us with a great event and we can have FUN and support a great cause! Love to you all, Lynn
