Delusional Sen. Feinstein: It’s legal to hunt humans with 30-round magazines

This is what we’re dealing with. She’s pathetic and delusional. I just don’t know what to say. Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) claims it’s legal “to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines.”

She was reading from a prepared statement. Hat tip to the Daily Caller, with the video below.

As a side note, I spoke to another full-time police officer today who works for a town department in Connecticut. He supported the Newtown police department after the school shooting in December. Guess what? He too thinks the politicians are doing the absolute wrong thing.

I’m not going around asking cops about it, they are offering up the information almost immediately. The line officers who work with the public every day are absolutely NOT in support of an “assault weapon” ban or a ban on “high-capacity” magazines. I’m not saying it’s 100 percent of them, but as a private consultant I happen to speak with these guys on a weekly basis, not one so far is with the gun-control crowd.

Another side note … To those of you who want to discuss the subject on Facebook. When you DELETE reasonable comments on your wall from friends who disagree with your position on gun-control, you’ve closed your mind. I don’t do that. I try to stop stuff from going off-topic, but I won’t delete your comments. And when you post comments and go back and delete them all later… well, figure it out.

Straight out of the Democrat playbook, “Say Anything and Do Anything To Get and Keep Political Control.”
    Lying is expected.
This woman sadly has dementia. Even sadder, she has power and a national pulpit. The saddest part is she believes in the garbage she is speaking.
Sick, warped and twisted rhetoric. Let’s see if another ‘crat starts singing the same tune . . .

DiFi is an ignoramus. ?Who is she to bad mouth veterans, she speaks about “the advent of PTSD” which is new only to her because she’s had her head up her arse for 80 years… ?If she’s really wants to take away illegal guns, go clean up Oakland CA and leave legal gun owners alone. ?She’s as bad as the other one who wants to tax your soda!

There seems to be no one to question the premise upon which Senator Feinstein bases her comment.? Ms. Feinstein and other gated community habitues fail to understand that were criminals locked up, there would be less need for citizens to arm themselves for protection from said criminals.? All data to the contrary, they insist that disarming the law abiding will somehow stop the outlaws.? It’s not about gun control, it’s all about control.
Clearly thoughtful, rational argument, based on empirical data has no traction.? Witness the excoriation of the NRA’s Wayne Lapiere’s statement that the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun….. but many districts now have armed patrols in the schools.? Until and unless there is an emotional argument in the major media to counter the strident bleating of the left, I fear we will continue to be marginalized by those to whom freedom is anathema.
Are arguments for freedom and adherence to the constitution not emotional enough?

She’s unbelievable. Maybe instead of mandatory mental health screenings for our children (proposed CT bill 374) we should have mandatory mental health screenings for our politicians. 😉

The power vacuum resulting from such a policy would make such a plan unfeasible.? Frankly I’ve become numb such profound disconnects from reality- what frightens me is the number of people that agree with what Feinstein and her ilk says.? I’m not ready to jump aboard the assumption that they actually believe these things but they clearly expect us to.

Personally, I disagree… There is a ‘different’ type of cop pumped out of the academies these days. I have a friend who back in the late 90’s became a cop here in Ct. He quit the force after 2 years telling me, ” I LIKE people but virtually every cop I know from my dept or other towns has this mind-set of ( Everyone is a BAD guy who’s not a cop ) and he told his Chief he did not agree with that sentiment and the Chief understood. My recent experience with cops? After I was threatened ( in the workplace ), the cop who showed up promptly told me I was ‘wasting his time’ and he ‘shouldn’t even be here for this ( high- school B.S.!’) His Supervisor disagreed and said he would follow up- to no avail. I requested a copy of the ‘report’ and it was totally inaccurate and full of lies. ?So, I for one do NOT believe most cops are on the side of our Constitution these days..

I’m impressed that the Libs think John Q. Public is just waiting for the one to two seconds it takes to change a magazine to take the perp down.? It works sometimes (Laughner in AZ) but isn’t valid for the majority of the time.?
As an aside, if?someone had a pocket fullof 1911 mags with 7, 8 or 10 rounds in them it’s not likely they’d have to stop until out of full mags.? A nut will find a way.

Law enforcement officers should remember that when they retire, are no longer a sworn officer, their trusty patrol rifle will magically turn into an evil weapon. Any status current officers now enjoy relating to firearms will disappear. They will become just like all of the everyone else.

Wonder who writes her talking points?? Sound like a few words were omitted.? Missing a? few little gray cells, perhaps?

    • Dimsdale on March 18, 2013 at 10:37 am

I think she only has a few little gray cells, all atrophied from disuse.

I recall a rule the police follow that they can shoot a perp who’s brandishing a knife if that perp comes within something like 30 feet of the officer- they allow a margin of safety because perp could close that distance quickly. ?Why should a civilian have to rush a gunman while the LEO doesn’t have to rush the perp with the knife. ?Ironically, DiFi has a gun to protect herself!
