So I’m guessing that this is probably Plan B that these clowns had to pull out after Holder absolutely screwed up Plan A. I don’t think Bammy thought this thing was going blow up in their faces the way it did. So we send this Connelly bozo down to Mexico and, low and behold, Mexico’s AG is begging the US to ban assault weapons. Huh, what a coincidence! Why didn’t he ask us to keep our corrupt Justice Department away from their northern border, especially if they’re intention is to arm the Cartels with automatic weapons? Or what didn’t he ask us to step-up our border security, in spite of the fact that Big Sis Napolitano claims the border with Mexico has never been safer! This whole thing stinks to high heaven. Everything our crooked AG touches turns to s–t! Obama’s no better… he seems to enjoy surrounding himself with people who have to look up to see the bottom of the barrel. The way this White House has operated reminds me of F Troop! Except F Troop was a bit more organized.

Holder and his band of merry men have been working “fast and furious” on perpetrating the justification for rolling out more restrictive gun bans on the premise that lax regulations directly resulted in American weapons crossing the Mexican border and being used by drug cartel criminals on innocents, including Americans.

The cause for those weapons finding their way into the wrong hands does need to be dealt with decisively, but it’s NOT the gun laws- it’s the low people in high places here who ensure that the weaponry makes it south of the border in order to be implicated in murders- generating the needed outrage to support stripping law abiding citizens of their right to bear arms.

…but go ahead and pit the only chance for conservatism against one another based on matters of personal ethics so Obummer, our modern day Captain Edward John Smith can steer this sinking ship directly into the iceberg he’s charted its course for thus far. Last time I heard, willfully allowing my weapons to find the hands of a criminal would land me a snoot full of legal trouble- so where are the indictments?

This would be a splendid time to roll this whole mess out. Maybe the voter…

How *wouldn’t* you get a single message from the Roman Catholic church? Did you think the churches in the 28 states were autonomous? And a critical look at the RC church will show it to be anything but conservative. If anything, the church is pretty lefty on most issues, but religious freedom isn’t one of them.
From the National Catholic Register regarding “no word from the bishops etc (http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/hhs-decision-prompts-more-opposition-from-catholics):
“Health and Human Services’ new mandate, they pointed out, “is much stricter than existing state mandates,” because its exemption, which was allegedly drafted by the ACLU, has previously been implemented in only three states.
“Even without a religious exemption, religious employers can already avoid the contraceptive mandates in 28 states by self-insuring their prescription-drug coverage, dropping that coverage altogether, or opting for regulation under a federal law that pre-empts state law,” the bishops noted.
But the new federal mandate “closes off all these avenues of relief.”

God forbid people and leaders actually get more involved with the political process, become more educated to the point where they realize what’s happening, and that it does not match up with their own belief system. Never mind the Hyde amendment that has been in place and thoroughly discussed since inception more than 14 years ago.

Why are liberals always looking to foreigners for guidance (here and in the judicial branch)? Seriously (and rhetorically), isn’t the Constitution they swore to uphold good enough for them?

Steve is giving us an excellent preview of what will happen with another four years of the Øbamanation, particularly if the lefties get more opportunities to just continue to bypass Congress and move us closer to the banana republic model they so treasure. The next election will determine if we go down path to Third world status with the liberals, or regain (or maintain) First world status with conservatives (I won’t say Republicans).

The choice is ours.

I am wishing for a 3rd party candidate. I am hoping someone runs to counter Obama on the loony left. Rosanne Barr? Ralph Nader again? Hillary? Please, please, please someone run to give the lefties disappointed with the “won” a choice.
