Don’t worry Congressman, we won’t. With mounting evidence that the Democrats are chiefly responsible for allowing Fannie Mae to run wild (see the Fox New report on the collapse of Fannie Mae), the Democrats are not exactly excited about holding hearings into the collapse of Fannie Mae. Shays is trying to hold their feet to the fire. Henry Waxman, Oversight Committee Chair, says he will hold those hearings. But Shays says he is not holding his breath.

Not to be off topic, but my question is why did Shays vote FOR the bailout? That cost him my vote. But I am not voting for Jim Himes his opponent, who recently invited Pelosi-Mussolini to Hartford, either. The time for 3rd parties is now.
