Attorney General Admits …. he hasn’t read the Arizona illegal immigration bill

I am not one prone to rant, but this conduct on the part of this administration is so outrageous that, well, I am going to rant.

This past weekend Attorney General Eric Holder appeared on several Sunday morning talk shows.  He denounced the new Arizona immigration law.  Here is an example of what he said.

I’ll have the video later, but today, before the House Judiciary Committee, when asked whether he had read the Arizona law…all 16 pages of it , he responded as follows:

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjAXcU89gEk

“I’ve just expressed concerns on the basis of what I’ve heard about the law. But I’m not in a position to say at this point, not having read the law, not having had the chance to interact with people are doing the review, exactly what my position is,” Mr. Holder told the House Judiciary Committee.

Are you kidding me?  Eric Holder is the chief law enforcement officer of the United States.  He  proclaims a law to be unconstitutional, and he hasn’t even read the law?  What a complete farce.

Is there anything this administration says that we can trust?  Sadly. I am beginning to conclude the answer to my question is a resounding “no”.

Even  Congressman Ted Poe was … umm outraged?

“It’s hard for me to understand how you would have concerns about something being unconstitutional if you haven’t even read the law,” the Texas Republican told the attorney general.

My brother will be interviewing Arizona State Representative John Kavanagh tomorrow at 11AM. It will be interesting to get his feedback on this one.

Seriously?  a SIXTEEN page law, and he couldn't attempt to even scan the flaming thing before denouncing it?  In defense of those who denounced the health care reform bill:  there is a difference of at least 1,984 pages between that and AZ illegal immigration law.

Think Holder should get some ambition before shooting his mouth off doing the Sunday morning talk show circuit.  If a republican in Holder's position made incompetent comments like his, he/she would be taken to task immediately and flogged in the town square…

Cannot wait to hear Jim's interview of Arizona State Rep. John Kavanaugh tomorrow a..m.  Gosh darn it, SOS…Know it shouldn't provoke me like it does, but so many of us try so hard to educate ourselves & keep up with this stuff and Holder can't bother to read SIXTEEN  PAGES???

Because that's 16 pages too many for Eric Holder to read. Someone should TL;DR (too long; didn't read) the entire 16 pages into one sentence for him: "illegal means illegal"

Well, heck!  If legislators don't have to read the bills they are passing into law, why should the chief law enforcement officer in the country have to read it?

Just deem it whatever you want!  That way, you can still have time to squeeze in "Dancing with the stars" and American Idol at night!

He is such a liar. He has read the bill and is just doing what "The Chosen One" has told him to say. They lie so much that they forget which lie they told.
