And you thought the McCain/Obama debate was tough. This was tough. On Fox News tonight Triumph, the comic insult dog from the Conan O’Brien show attacking Mr Met. Times are strange indeed when Mr Met and Triumph duke it out in the debate spin room. I wonder how Gretta felt about that. Just a little levity to lighten up your morning.
Just for the record I thought McCain was strong. He hit Obama on Ayers, taxes and Joe the plumber. Obama huffed and puffed, grimaced and groaned and then returned to his talking points. I think Obama changed no minds tonight and I think McCain set himself for a strong finish. Maybe not changing minds tonight … but over the week if McCain hammers that message home … he can still win this.
Remember you folks on the left, push comes to shove, capitalism trumps socialism with Americans every time.
