Comments on: Ask Questions… well except one http://radioviceonline.com/ask-questions-well-except-one/ The blog home of The Jim Vicevich Show Thu, 09 Feb 2012 18:10:09 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 By: Dimsdale http://radioviceonline.com/ask-questions-well-except-one/comment-page-1/#comment-6319 Dimsdale Tue, 13 Oct 2009 11:43:21 +0000 http://radioviceonline.com/?p=16940#comment-6319 Here is a few questions you can ask your "representative": 1) What is this legislation really for, i.e. what will it accomplish? 2) Do you have any experience in health care/insurance?  In other words, do you know what you are doing? 3) When will I ever see the final form of the legislation?  Before it is law? 4) Why do I need this legislation if I like my insurance? 5) Are there alternatives to your legislation?  What are they? 6) What are the possible cost overruns and deficits? 7) What is really best for my needs?  Will this legislation decrease my actual coverage, or cost me more in the long run through hidden taxes? 8) Do you understand what is really in this bill?  Will you submit to random testing before voting on it? 9) Will there be unforeseen results (like in Medicare or Social Security)? 10) Will you guarantee that the legislation will not affect my current insurance, which I like? 11) Wouldn't it be cheaper to simply insure the 10 million or so truly needy people?  Why not?   12) Will you guarantee that illegals, even those getting amnesty, will be disallowed from getting this insurance?   13) Will you guarantee that my taxes, any taxes, "will not go up one dime", and will you put in provisions to ensure that they will not?
