Never have I been happier to see a RINO leave the conservative movement then when Arlen Specter switched sides. Arrogance on parade. This is a series of bites from the Pennsylvania Senator’s town hall on health care, because I couldn’t just pick one.
The first get’s a H/T from HotAir. I couldn’t link to the video so I compressed my own. But you must link to Ed Morrissey’s take on this. His work is amazing. The best line is when he says “I don’t have to be here.” Well no. Choice!
This second clip is a two fer and my favorite. It starts with a man who tells Specter to just scrap a lousy plan … and then followed by a young woman who charges Specter to follow the constitution and health care ain’t in it. Let me just draw your attention to two key parts.
Two money lines in this one. At the 2 minute mark he’s asked about future input on any bill and he says … I’ll be back in a year. Then at 2:34 when he’s asked about HR 3400 (The Republican plan) he says he doesn’t know about it. It’s followed by a young woman who speaks for all of us.
It took a while but Specter seemed to be getting the message. But his off hand and unconscious response in those parts …combined with the first bite spell arrogance.
Finally let me say to anyone cruising this post …. these people came armed an ready. They have read the bill. No one was hired. It wasn’t necessary. The Democrats saw to that.

Just hoping that Spector gets his just desserts. I wonder, if he’s losing the pending PA Democratic Primary will he jump to Libertarian, Socialist or Green Party?
When the lady asks what are you going to do about “defending the Constitution” why can’t they just answer the damn question. People who beat around the bush just some how to me either are trying to hide something or are just plain liars. Specter might be just both.
Arrogance and ignorance are starting to merge for the Dems in this debate.
I wonder if Specter still thinks that the voters can’t live without him?
The woman from the second video was on Hannity last night, and she says that her cell phone has ringing like crazy and that she was being called a “racist”.
