Michelle Malkin does a great job fact checking Charlie Gibson’s questions to Sarah Palin last night. Apparently Sarah was well prepared but poor Charlie was not … here’s one case where he got his facts wrong … but as Michelle points out there were more.
From Hot Air, which has a transcript of the video … here’s what Sarah Palin actually told the Church members;
“Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God,” she exhorted the congregants. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.”
Here’s where Charlie blows it … gets Sarah’s speech on God and the Iraq war wrong and out of context … even so Sarah calls him on it and then answers.
Where oh where could Charlie have gotten that quote? Hmmmmmm.
