The news media in Central Florida apparently hasn’t gotten the memo yet. It is still referred to as swine flu here, but the news folks devote more words to explaning “but eating pork can’t cause it” than they do explaning the issue. So, all I know is I can eat lots of pork without fear. What I should “fear”, however, may forever remain a mystery.

So nice to meet you at Starbucks today… hope you enjoyed the Pikes Peek! Obviously, when you go there enough the stress of coffee choice does not effect you!

Funny that I ran into you and forgot to mention that I was going to call a few days ago but didn’t have the number! I came up with a great name for the swine flu… “Non-kosher flu”! (a a jew, I think it is okay for me to say!)

Isn’t this getting just a little bit crazy? We don’t do swine flu anymore, terrorism is no longer terrorism, marriage is just another one of those passe traditions… this latest incarnation that we’re calling an administration is so out of touch with America! Doh!

Aren’t flu outbreaks generally named after their place of origin? Doesn’t Mexican Flu fit the bill?
