More problems for Obamacare
Yet another snafu has cropped up in implementing Obamacare. It seems that the Secretary of Health and Human Services “unexpectedly” has run out of Obamacare money needed to implement the insurance exchanges.

Yesterday, the federal government began cutting the work hours of Air Traffic Controllers allegedly because of the sequester. The controllers will now be required to take one unpaid day off every 15 days. Today we learned of up to two hour delays at JFK due to the sequester. Forgetting for the moment that the sequester…

This afternoon, two bombs exploded on Boylston Street near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. What we know now is that two people were killed and twenty three people are injured.
Read MoreFor John Kerry: At what point does North Korea become a nuclear power?
Secretary of State John Kerry touched down in South Korea earlier today to renew support for South Korea and regional allies as North Korea gets more desperate for food and cash. The boisterous rhetoric from the North is pretty much out-of-control. That said, Kerry – and maybe many others – can’t seem to agree if North Korea…

The party must go on. First and foremost – you realize don’t you – the federal government will be spending billions of dollars more than they did last year even though the so-called “devastating” sequester is in place. Everything is being canceled everywhere, and even the president plans to “give back” 5 percent of his…

A recent survey of more than 15,000 verified law enforcement professionals confirm what I’ve been hearing and what I’ve said for…

I don’t have the video, but Matt Lauer from the Today Show was just interviewing an NBC talking head and the talking head inferred – again – that you can buy a gun at a gun show or online without a background check. This is an outright lie when it comes to online purchases, and…
Read MoreObama targets wealthy who have “too much” money in individual retirement accounts
Class warfare continues. The Obama administration thinks too many wealthy people have been “abusing” the individual retirement account (IRA) system by following the law and maxing out their contributions. Then, they had the gaul to hire investment councilors – or make smart decisions themselves – and actually make a profit … too much of a…
Read MoreAurora theater shooting: A failure directly related to our mental health system
I was speaking to Jim the other day about the reluctance of people to “get involved” with the mental health of friends and family members. Honestly, I’m guilty. It’s not a stretch to be aware of a constant stream of strange attitudes, inappropriate comments, excessive drinking, depression, anti-social behavior and other “quirks” of someone we…
