Milton Friedman on economics
As my brother said today on his show, today would have been Milton Friedman’s 100th birthday. He passed away in 2006. He won the Nobel Prize in economics for 1976, 200 years after our country began. He believed firmly in the economic principles of our founding.
Read MoreSmall business tax breaks…or not
President Obama often speaks about the 18 or so tax breaks for small business that have been passed under his watch. So, when I saw an article about these tax breaks last week, it peeked my curiosity. Businesses aren’t taking them. Why?

Read MoreUnited States cyber security legislation may include a high-capacity magazine ban
Why are politicians allowed to do this kind of stuff? Lucky for us living in the Internet age, congress-critters can’t sneak stuff into legislation that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual legislation. Some Democrat senators are trying to add a high-capacity magazine ban into S.3414, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012.
